The coronavirus pandemic has severely impacted public health and the global economy, hitting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) especially hard. Our project focuses on providing educational resources to help micro-SMEs navigate and overcome the challenges posed by the pandemic and its aftermath. These businesses face disproportionate struggles due to their smaller size and limited digital capabilities, which makes adapting to new work processes like teleworking more difficult and costly.
The aim is to develop and disseminate materials that equip micro-SMEs with new competitive skills, organizational strategies, and business processes essential for thriving during and after the pandemic. Our target groups include entrepreneurs and managers who will directly benefit from the project outputs, as well as public institutions and consultancy services that support SME development. Educational institutions involved in training these key personnel are also crucial stakeholders.
The main beneficiaries are the micro-SMEs, which are particularly vulnerable to disruptions given their newness and limited resources. This project seeks to increase their resilience by enhancing their capabilities to adapt to the evolving business environment.
